![]() The game is mostly polished but you'll come across small things that can easily be patched. I earned an achievement for something I didn't do, lol. Found out it was a bug but thankfully, it was already patched but I don't know if there are any other bugs like that. After beating the boss and finishing Chapter 1, the game froze and I couldn't continue. Overall, I don't know if I would fully recommend it. I'm ready.but it's the simplest lockpick ever lol and it's not fun at all. ![]() There may be a locked door and they ask you to use a lockpick. Oh, and the "puzzles" are not really present. Things like this add to the world and because they aren't present, it makes things feel a little empty. Auto heal after battle means no inn to visit. No items or equipment means no shops to come across. I can see people try to think of builds using the passive abilities you can find. ![]() No real thinking (other than that boss battle I had trouble on.but more annoying than anything). Auto heal after battles means I can just use my strongest moves without worry to finish as fast as I can (as long as I have the SP to use them). Even on Hard, I could do the same attacks and just breeze through enemies. I'm about 5 hours into it and finished Chapter 1 but I gotta say, I'm kinda bored of it and the biggest reason is the battles are repetitive. Just a personal thing that bothers me lol. Stand in it and they won't see you.but it has this annoying effect every time you step in it. There are bushes all over the world that help you hide from enemies. There are modifiers as I explained that can make your life easier or harder but if you don't want to touch any of that, just be aware that Hard might not be as hard as you expect but you may encounter difficulty spikes later. Now that I'm trying Normal, I expect an even easier time. I could keep doing the same moves over and over on regular enemies and breeze through it. Like I said, you heal after every battle but during the battle, if your HP is low, you need to make sure someone can recover HP.Īs I said, playing on Hard wasn't an issue until I reached that boss. So if you get poisoned, you'll have to just fight through the damage or defend (which skips your turn and you won't get hurt from it). ![]() You need to rely on whatever skills you learn as you level up and whatever passive abilities you equip on your characters. So after trying many many times, I knocked down the difficulty to Normal and beat it first try. Poison can stack as well.up to 3 times.and that shit hurts lol. As far as I can see, I haven't come across anything that can cure poison. One boss had an attack that hit 2-3 people multiple times. That's when I came across a boss (2 in the same battle) that just destroyed me over and over. I started my playthrough on Hard and I wasn't really having any trouble until maybe the 3 hour mark. You can have 4 party members at a time and can switch out in the menu. You'll have to beat them in order to get them. They appear during the story or you can find them out in the field. They make you choose between 2 sets and each have their own Aspects to craft. On top of materials, you need another specific item to actually craft, but these you'll get plenty of. You'll need materials you find on the field or after a battle. Only way to save.Įach character can equip 3 "Aspects (aka passive abilities)", which can be crafted near the campsite. Kinda wish I can just hold a button and run instead. You're able to dash in the field but there's a short cooldown before you can do it again. Attack them long enough (more damage makes the bar fill up faster), and they'll be stunned for 2 turns AND they'll take double damage. So when it's your turn you'll earn an AP.but if you use Aether Up, you'll have 2 turns the next go around.Įnemies have a Stun Bar. Each character has AP and that determines how many times you can go. Think of it as a defend option) that lets you take half damage from all hits but it also gives you an AP point. A meter appears and your goal is to hit A right when it's in the green part.Īether Up is a skill (.that everyone has. The following you can adjust:īattles play similar to Paper Mario and what I mean is you'll have to time your attacks to do extra damage. Other than these options, there are also other things you can do to make the game easier/harder for you. There are also Special Settings, that can randomize the game and possibly make it easier or harder.įigment Randomization (Randomizes the order you receive party members)Īpparition Randomization (Randomizes the enemies you encounter)Īspect Randomization (Randomizes the recipes you find)
